The hospital has been advised that there are unfounded rumours circulating about the Temiskaming Hospital’s Emergency Department.
Both the Hospital and the Physicians have been and continue to be committed to keeping a 24-hour emergency service open. We believe the citizens of Temiskaming Shores deserve no less than the ongoing provision of this critical service.
Any rumours to the contrary are just that….. rumours. As the President and CEO of Temiskaming Hospital and as confirmed by our Chief of Staff, we are committed to ensuring continuous physician coverage for our Emergency Department.
These rumours are completely unfounded and should be disregarded by anyone who becomes aware of them.
