The purpose of the Speech Language Pathology Service is to Provide services encompassing assessment, planning, treatment, training and consultation to individuals with speech, language or swallowing difficulties Assist clients, families and caregivers in making decisions by providing education and information Assist clients and their families in gaining access to support services and programs available within the hospital and community Inform the staff of the hospital and the public of the purpose, programs and services of the service area.
