Temiskaming Hospital now offers the public access to the internet using an open wireless network. This service is free of charge and has the ability to support communication services such as Skype, FaceTime, and Google Talk.
To initiate this service, simply connect to wireless network TemiHospPublic and then open your internet browser. Your browser will be redirected to a user access agreement. Accepting these terms will complete the connection and allow you free access to the internet.
Patients and visitors can safely use cellular phones and PEDs in public areas such as the main lobby, cafeteria, waiting areas and most patient rooms, unless contra-indicated by signs or advised by Hospital staff. Please respect the signage and directions.
