Patients First

Improving health care by putting patients first.

Temiskaming Hospital is committed to putting patients and their families first. This means viewing the healthcare experience through their eyes.

Our Patient and Family Advisory Committee (PFAC) represents the voice of Temiskaming Hospital’s patient and families who have unique experience, insights, expertise and perspectives that are invaluable to improving care. The committee is an opportunity for patients and families to participate as partners in planning services and systems which can positively shape the patient experience.

Patients, family members and caregivers who are willing to share their personal experiences with Temiskaming Hospital will come together to form the Temiskaming Hospital Patient and Family Advisory Committee (PFAC). The Patient and Family Advisory Committee works in partnership with Temiskaming Hospital to ensure that the needs and priorities for patient and family centered care are considered and incorporated into matters that impact patients and their families.
