WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

In the event of an emergency situation requiring the temporary suspension of critical services at the Temiskaming Hospital, we want to ensure that you are informed about the available options to address your medical needs. We understand that any interruption of our healthcare services could place a great deal of strain; with that in mind, we have prepared a directory of alternative healthcare options made available within the community and surrounding area.

During such events, we kindly request that you seek alternative care for non-urgent matters, urgent care, continuing care and other health services at nearby facilities or agencies within the area. Each situation is unique and selecting the appropriate community health services can help address your needs during these unforeseen circumstances. Your health is our priority and we greatly appreciate your cooperation as we focus on assisting those in critical need. Please review the alternate options below:

  • Provides immediate medical attention for severe, life-threatening conditions or injuries. Delivered in hospital emergency departments, it addresses issues like chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, trauma or stroke symptoms.
