Code Grey - Button Down Protocol
The Public is advised that Temiskaming Hospital has resumed regular services.
Please remain on alert, due to ongoing air quality concerns within our district we will continue to monitor the situation, and may revert to a Code Grey within the next 24-48 hours.
We will advise should we be required to reactivate Code Grey.

The Public is advised that air quality around the Temiskaming Hospital is expected to significantly deteriorate tomorrow.
As a result, the hospital has enacted its button down protocol to manage the air quality inside the hospital as much as possible.
If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911. The Hospital remains open.
Based on the Provincial forecasts we have available, the button down is expected to start at 9:00 pm on Thursday, June 8, 2023 until Saturday morning, June 10, 2023.
During the button down procedure, access to the hospital will only be through the main doors and Security personnel will be controlling entry and exit. Surgeries and Obstetrical services scheduled for Friday, June 9, 2023 will be cancelled. All volunteers and non-essential care partners are requested to not come to the hospital.
This is a rapidly changing situation and is constantly monitored. You will be updated, should plans change.
