Vice President Corporate Services and Chief Operating Officer (2-year contract)

 

The Position:

 

This is a two (2) year pilot project position, reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer. The Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Operating Officer will play an instrumental part of the Hospital’s senior leadership team providing managerial leadership and strategic expertise and oversight to Information Technology, Human Resources, Engineering and Maintenance, Support Services, Procurement and Materials Management.

 

Aligning with the Hospitals mission, vision, values and strategic plan, you will provide transformational leadership, while collaborating with key stakeholders in designing and implementing quality initiatives to promote an organizational culture of excellence.

 

 

The Candidate

 

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional leader with a minimum of five (5) years recent experience in a senior administrative capacity. Demonstrated success in facilitating work teams, program service and quality improvement is essential to this role. Sound knowledge of the Health Care System, legislative requirements is required.

 

Your educational background will include: completion of a recognized degree in Business/Health/Public Administration is required; Master’s degree is preferred. Oral proficiency in French at an advanced or superior level is preferred.
