We are seeking a motivated Risk Management & Capital Project Lead to join our team.

 Principal responsibilities include:

  • Administering and coordinating the activities of risk management
  • Planning for and coordinating hospital projects
  • Providing functional Health and Safety knowledge in regulatory requirements
  • Health and Safety technical aspects which includes safety, industrial hygiene, environmental, behavior-based safety, training, regulatory agency enforcement
  • Conducting orientation for contractors and external partners
  • Conducting regular risk assessments
  • Individual accountability around staff and patient safety, utilizing supplies and equipment according to safe regulations following hospital policies and procedures, Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and Infection Prevention/Control

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in public, healthcare or business administration
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in project management

The following will be considered assets:

  • Change management and project management training or certification completed or in progress is an asset
  • Training in Occupational Health and Safety or a Professional Health and Safety certification is an asset
  • Familiarity with risk management strategies is preferred
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with budgeting
