Temiskaming Hospital is pleased to announce the development of our new breastfeeding room. We believe that you and your baby have the right to breastfeed anytime and anywhere you choose; however, some parents feel more comfortable breastfeeding or pumping in a private space.
This new space will be located near the main entrance in a private room behind the registration desk.
We are currently seeking parent partners to assist us in designing our new breastfeeding room. We are looking for 3-4 individuals with experience parenting a child within the past 5 years, preferably those with breastfeeding and/or pumping experience. The selected individuals will have a passion for breastfeeding and the desire to improve the care provided to breastfeeding parents at Temiskaming Hospital.
We are accepting expressions of interest until June 30, 2021.
